A three-day gems, jewellery and fashion exhibition, to be organised by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), will be held from May 20 to 22 in Islamabad.

The aim of the exhibition is to encourage local traders and industrialists to take up the non-conventional sector like gemstone business.

Talking to journalists, RCCI President Nadeem Rauf underlined that the “only solution to the current economic uncertainty is in the Charter of Economy”, which all political parties should sign. He said that although “the current economic situation is vague, the business community believes that trade activities should continue in one form or another”.
